7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers should independently evaluate businesses before making purchases. Sakhi is not a party to transactions.

Advertising positions, visibility and campaigns may vary. No guarantee of enquiries, sales, rankings, leads, ROI or business growth is provided.

Services are delivered according to the agreed scope. Additional revisions or enhancements may incur additional charges.

10. Membership Fees, Payments & Refunds

Fees are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, digital assets are created or advertisements are published, unless required by applicable law.

1 Platform Role

Sakhi Foundation (“Sakhi”) operates solely as a business promotion, networking, advertising and marketplace platform that enables businesses to showcase their products and services and allows customers to connect directly with such businesses.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, Sakhi is not the manufacturer, seller, supplier, distributor, retailer, importer, exporter, reseller, agent, broker, franchisee, dealer, employer, contractor or representative of any listed business.

Sakhi merely provides an online platform to facilitate visibility and communication between businesses and customers.


2 Independent Transactions

All enquiries, communications, quotations, negotiations, orders, payments, contracts, deliveries, warranties, returns, exchanges, cancellations, refunds and after-sales services are conducted solely between the customer and the respective business owner.

Sakhi is not a party to any agreement or transaction entered into between users.


3 No Verification or Endorsement

Unless specifically mentioned by Sakhi under an official verification programme (if introduced in the future), Sakhi does not independently verify, investigate, certify, endorse, inspect, guarantee or warrant:

6 Customer Decisions

Customers acknowledge that all purchasing decisions are made entirely at their own discretion.

Sakhi has no control over such third-party services and accepts no responsibility for their availability, security, functionality or content.


8 Website Development & Digital Services

Where Sakhi provides website development, digital marketing, branding, SEO, social media management, content creation, AI-assisted content, advertising or related services:

  • services are provided according to the agreed scope of work;
  • timelines may vary depending on client approvals and third-party providers;
  • search engine rankings cannot be guaranteed;
  • social media performance cannot be guaranteed;
  • advertising results cannot be guaranteed;
  • lead generation cannot be guaranteed;
  • business growth cannot be guaranteed.

Any estimates, projections or recommendations are indicative only and shall not constitute a guarantee of future performance.


9 Technical Interruptions

Sakhi shall not be liable for interruptions arising from:

  • internet failures;
  • server downtime;
  • software bugs;
  • cyber attacks;
  • hacking attempts;
  • viruses;
  • maintenance activities;
  • hosting failures;
  • domain issues;
  • payment gateway failures;
  • telecommunications failures;

10 Maximum Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the total cumulative liability of Sakhi, its founders, directors, employees, representatives, consultants, volunteers, partners and affiliates arising out of or relating to the use of the platform or services shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by the affected member to Sakhi during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.


11 Exclusion of Consequential Damages

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sakhi shall not be liable for any:

  • incidental loss;
  • exemplary damages;
  • punitive damages;
  • loss of profit;

12 User Acknowledgement

By registering on, accessing or using the Sakhi platform, the user acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted this Limitation of Liability clause and agree that the allocation of risk contained herein is fair and reasonable and forms an essential basis of the relationship between the user and Sakhi.
